Plastic bags

Plastic bags are one of the most common types of packaging worldwide. Broadly speaking, they are made from three raw materials of different origins. Plastic packaging produced from the primary raw material, virgin plastic materials – is made directly from plastic granules made from petroleum. Plastic bags made from biodegradable raw materials – bio-plastics of plant origin are used as raw materials. Such products are relatively safe by nature, they are biodegradable and compostable. The third largest group are bags made of recycled plastic (Recycled Plastic Raw material). These are also eco-friendly products in every way. The recycled plastic packaging has already been produced and later collected from circulation, is reused for production.

The most popular are either T-shirt or Die-cut plastic bags.

They are widely used in commerce as shopping bags and packaging bags. They are rather more affordable, yet sufficiently durable and practical. However, customers are less and less interested in Loop handle and double-layered plastic bags (Market type bags, Patch handle bags). One of the reasons is certainly the excessive material consumption in their manufacture. This makes these products more expensive compared to other alternatives.

There are a lot of options when it comes to printing. Since the plastic bags are printed on almost their entire outer surface. From one color to photo printing. In the case of these products, the price always depends on the type of overprint: how large an area it covers and how many colors it has to be. Of course, printing in one color on one side is always the most affordable.

In addition, colored raw materials can be used, more often also black plastic granules. The overprint on black color bags is usually either silver or gold. Such plastic bags are unique in every way and have a very representative effect.

The range of plastic packaging without handles is also very wide. Such packages are often equipped with a suitable tape for closing or a so-called minigrip closure.
